We all know the importance of air pressure. If the air pressure is too high or too low in the atmosphere we will have breathing difficulty. We never measure the air pressure of the atmosphere. We are usually more worried about the pollution in the air and buy expensive air purifiers at home. However there are instances we do measure the air pressure. Yes, you guessed it. The air pressure in our vehicle tires. You can use a tire pressure gauge and measure the air pressure inside the tire. A properly inflated tire will reduce your gas bill. Moreover your car wheels will last longer. I was explaining this to my friend who runs a vacuum pumps service in Australia and he seems to be impressed. I guess he was more worried about creating vacuum than inflating the tires.

He used to check the air pressure at gas stations once in two months or so, but never did it at home. I explained it is good to verify the tire pressure every week and told him that these gauges are not expensive. He seems really surprised to see the cool look of the new generation digital tire pressure gauges. He was thinking about the mechanical ones which worked on spring pressure.
I suggest you guys also to get a pressure monitor and check your tires regularly.
